The Black Down & Hindhead Supporters help the National Trust to enhance its local properties.
What We Do
The Black Down and Hindhead Supporters help the local National Trust to enhance their landscape nature reserves in and around Haslemere. The Committee liaises with the local National Trust staff to agree on key additional projects for the local area which central National Trust budgets are unable to cover.
We are a registered charity, raising funds through membership subscriptions and donations, from talks and events and the sale of publications.
The Committee meets regularly with the local National Trust staff to advise on all aspects of site management, local issues and opinion, acting as eyes and ears on the ground.
You don’t have to belong to the National Trust to join the Black Down and Hindhead Supporters. Your subscription and donations are used specifically for our local sites, and Supporters receive regular updates on our activities as well as free or reduced entry to our events.Join Us
